The Sale Creek Cabin occupies a gently sloping, but narrow brow lot on the Signal Mountain escarpment. The client desired a small permanent structure for retreat, one that would take advantage of the forested property and the incredible views of the Tennessee Valley below. After studying multiple site and plan options, the resulting two bedroom cabin sits just up-slope from the edge of the brow, nestled in trees. A simple material palette of concrete, glass, wood siding, and metal roofing are used in homage the surrounding farm structures.
